His eyes slowly drift over the sunlit desert.

A thorny devil treading its way across the sand, exchanging one shadowy cover for another. Further, in the distance, a sand cat slinks between rocks and boulders that lie scattered beneath the hills.

Taking a small sip out of his water flask, our protagonist rises from his cross-legged position, shoulders his gear and grabs his spear with his sunburnt hand. Atop of the hills run the traits of civilization in form of train tracks, which means his path will take him the opposite way. His feet digging into the sand as he descends the dune highpoint, with its small withered tree, he reaches the below level facing the hills in the distance.

His hair stands on end! A split-second later he jumps out the way as the tale end whips at the space where his body was. The sand, exploding upwards, reveals the towering form of a snake snapping its jaw at its prey. Our protagonist and what can now be seen as a giant horned viper face each other off. The gear flung to one side, spear in both hands he scans his enemies body for weak spots.

What  a majestic scene! The two opponents give each other no ground, sharp venemous fangs try to dig into the prey, but are countered by skilful spear parries. Blood, poison and our protagonist running up the coiled snake's body, facing the poised snake-head which is ready to strike again. Not far from them the sun shines on the metallic frame of the passing by train, revealing the stunned faces of the passengers getting a glimpse of this ferocious battle of life and death.

Gather your strength and travel with us through the hot sand plains of Dust Vale. Quench your thirst for roleplay by watching the cast members and the GM launch their way through the continent, facepalming themselves from one adventure to another. An enjoyable campaign which has brought a lot of laughs and smiles to me. Guns, magic, red and a feather are the four core essences of this story.
