It is the thirty-fourth day into the siege of Greyhome.

A  two-day trip from the scenes of battle lies a snow-covered mountain range. On one of the slopes of the lower hills, we can make out a bear, its nose in the air sniffing for potential prey. Not far ahead, a mountain goat leaps out of a snow mounds cover and makes a run for it. The bear, with a hungry roar, dives through the snow and starts immediately taking after the animal. One minute into the chase, unbeknownst to the mountain goat and the bear, a huge figure emerges from the side and follows behind the bear. We get a front view of the bear's head where we get a glimpse on the eyes focusing on its prey, and, of the Goliath's hulking figures growing shape as it closes the distance between them. The Goliath reaches his arm out for the cudgel on his back and with one ferocious swing, the bear's head is caved in. A content Goliath drags the bear's body back to his makeshift camp. This is going to be much better meat than what is served at the siege camp.

The TTRPG show ASCENDANCE was a show run by TABLESTORY. The system being used for this show is D&D 5e. At this point, Ascendance is already finished being aired live, but YouTube VODs are available.

The GM delivers a fantastic job in vividly describing the events which our in real-life trolls, I mean cast members, encounter. Their player characters pursue their quest, and more and more we get to see their personal side. Together, in battle or on the road, they face the challenges as one. I enjoyed watching this show as it has very nice moments which the GM and cast members play out.
